Somehow I missed the recent announcement that Ladies’ Home Journal is ceasing monthly publication, after 130 years in print. It wasn’t until just now, when the super-thin June issue arrived in my mailbox, that I realized something was amiss. The issue is so small, it feels more like a booklet than a magazine.

The magazine will still be published occasionally, as a special interest publication, but it’s truly the end of an era.  Very sad to see another of the “Seven Sisters” die out.
