  1. Lisa, would you answer a few questions for me concerning a Blogger (Google) blog?

If someone comments to your site with an abusive or crude post, do you have to depend upon Blogger to determine if it should be removed or can you as the blog author remove the post?

I do not have a Blogger blog now but I would want control of what is said on a blog that I am the author of. I was told by a blog author that he could not control the posts on his blog, only Blogger (Google) can.

    Is this true?

Perhaps this is not the place to ask these questions but I do not have any other way of contacting you. Thank you for your time.

p.s. I assume you can see my email address but not my password?

  2. Hi Kris,

You can control the comments as much or as little as you want. There are settings that allow you to moderate the comments. You can approve them before they get posted, if you choose. If an abusive or crude post does get posted, you can remove it very easily from the dashboard of your blog.

  3. Lisa,
Thanks so much for the information. I questioned why a particular comment was allowed to be posted and he told me only Blogger had control.

Very nice of you to take the time. I thought the blog author had control but since I do not have a Blogger blog could not argue with him.

You have a very nice clean looking blog.

Stay healthy and much thanks again.
